Sell solid aluminium fences where privacy has to be total

A solid aluminium fence configurator works with panels that carry no gap at all — for this type the gap control is not displayed. Two patterns are available: horizontal on a 100 × 30 mm profile and vertical on a 100 × 20 mm profile. Everything else stays as on the other fences: boundary, height, posts, gates, colour and a calculated price.

A solid fence is bought for exactly one reason — you cannot see through it. That means the highest material area per metre and the heaviest demands on posts, especially at greater heights. The configurator shows both consequences at once: what the fence looks like and what it costs when it rises from 1,500 to 1,800 mm.

What buyers can configure

Panel pattern: A horizontal pattern on a 100 × 30 mm profile or a vertical one on 100 × 20 mm.
Height: Standard chips of 600, 800, 1,000, 1,200, 1,500, 1,600, 1,800 and 2,000 mm, or a custom height of 400–3,000 mm.
Boundary and layout: One to four sides from 1.8 to 30 m, with economical or equal panel division.
Posts and anchoring: Aluminium or the buyer’s own concrete posts 100–500 mm wide, caps, and in-ground, surface or face mounting.
Gates and colour: Up to two gates per side, the full RAL palette, a wood-look finish or a custom shade.

What the engine validates

No gap: A solid panel has no gap between profiles, so the configurator does not offer a gap control for this type.
Post upgrade above 1,500 mm: Above 1,500 mm the post profile is reinforced automatically; above 2,000 mm it is no longer offered.
Shared corner posts: With several sides the corner posts are shared, so the total is not the sum of the per-side counts.
Minimum panel width: A leftover bay below 250 mm is never created; the layout distributes it into the other bays.
Discrete gate widths: Single gates 900 or 1,000 mm, double and sliding 3,000–4,000 mm.

What changes the price

Panel area: A solid fence carries the highest material area per metre of any type in the range.
Height bracket: The panel price comes from a max-height bracket, so moving to a taller fence is a step change.
Posts and their profile: Above 1,500 mm a stronger post is used, raising structure cost beyond the panels themselves.
Panel and side counts: Side lengths and the chosen panel width determine how many panels and how much hardware are built.
Gates and equipment: Gate type, width and height plus post box, motorisation and electric lock.

Why can no gap be set on a solid fence?+

The panel is solid, so there is no gap between profiles. The configurator hides the control for this type rather than letting the buyer set a value with no meaning.

What happens if I raise the fence above 1,500 mm?+

A stronger post profile is applied automatically and the panel price moves into a higher height bracket. Both effects appear in the price immediately.

What separates the horizontal and vertical patterns?+

Profile direction and thickness — 100 × 30 mm horizontally against 100 × 20 mm vertically. Appearance and price bracket are specific to each pattern.

How many posts does a closed boundary need?+

Corner posts are shared between adjacent sides, so the total is lower than the sum of the individual sides. The exact figure appears in the summary and in 3D.

Can a solid fence sit on the buyer’s own concrete posts?+

Yes. The concrete post width is entered between 100 and 500 mm; the configurator then prices panels and hardware only, and the anchoring choice is not offered.
