When does a veranda take glass and when polycarbonate?
In the walkthrough the projection decides first: a glass roof reaches at most 4 m from the house, a polycarbonate one 5 m, and under polycarbonate the rafters may sit further apart. Glass is the dearer covering in the sample price list. In your deployment the limits and prices of your own system apply.
What sizes and pitch does the glass veranda offer in the walkthrough?
The walkthrough offers a grid of 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 m widths with 2.5 to 4 m projections, or a size to measure from 2 to 12 m wide and 2 to 5 m deep, 4 m at most with glass. The height under the gutter is 2.0 to 3.0 m and the pitch 5 to 15°, 8° by default. These are the parameters of the walkthrough, not a universal manufacturing offer.
How is the price of a glass veranda calculated?
In the walkthrough the roof base is read from the size grid, and a size between grid lines is priced as the next larger cell. Walls per metre of opening, triangles, ZIP blinds, lights, heaters, the awning and footings are added, with installation and delivery included. The price list is illustrative; a client deployment uses the manufacturer’s confirmed price list.
How are walls, triangles and blinds combined on a glass veranda?
Each side is set independently in the walkthrough: it can stay open or take one of six walls, with a ZIP blind outside. A side wall under the sloped roof needs a glass or polycarbonate triangle above it. On the house the back is the house wall, and for a deployment we adapt the choice of walls to your system.
How does the configurator place the posts under a glass roof?
In the walkthrough the outer posts stand flush with the sides and can be moved in by up to 500 mm. Between them the configurator adds posts so that no span exceeds 4.0 m under glass or 4.5 m under polycarbonate, less in a higher snow class, and it joins a beam longer than 7 m over a post. The buyer can add further posts; this is a rule of the walkthrough, not a structural assessment of the build.
How can a ZIP blind be added in front of sliding glass?
In the walkthrough a ZIP blind is added as the outer layer of the same side, in front of the wall already chosen, in one of four fabric colours. The sample price list charges it per unit, one unit covering up to 6 m. The buyer can watch the blind roll down and the glass slide with the buttons under the 3D view; that preview is not part of the configuration or the price.
