Sell louvered patio roofs by showing the roof open

In the walkthrough the roof reads as flat: the frame is level and its drainage fall, roughly 2°, is tucked inside, so no pitch is set. The blades alone rotate, up to 90°, and rainwater exits down one post. For a visibly sloping roof, the louvered veranda model is the one to compare.

The blades are the pergola’s own; what changes is the frame. The patio roof sits in a level four-beam frame draining down a post and, in the walkthrough, carries its own price list covering walls, ZIP blinds and footings. The pergola remains a separate product, built differently, equipped by other rules and without a built-in price list.

Open, Stop and Close sit below the 3D view: the blades rotate up to 90° and halt at whatever angle the buyer likes, so shade versus open sky appears on the buyer’s own measurements. That angle is stored neither in the design nor in the price. It gives a visual impression, not a lighting simulation.

The walkthrough offers LED strip lighting along the frame’s inner edge or spotlights, in warm, neutral or cool white or colour-changing. Strip lighting is priced by length and spotlights singly, together with a driver and remote control. The configurator does not stand in for a proper lighting design.

In the configurator the front or either side can take a wall or an exterior ZIP blind, and the buyer compares the revised design and its price. Retrofitting onto a finished terrace depends on how it was built, which the system supplier has to confirm.
