Sell log holiday cabins with a 3D design and an indicative price
The holiday cabin configurator shows a compact laminated-log cabin with an 8.4 × 5.1 m footprint, 42.8 m² of floor area measured to the outer faces and a covered terrace 2.7 m deep. Buyers choose a mono-pitch or gable roof, a layout with a sauna or with two bedrooms, year-round or summer use, colours, roofing, the terrace, the foundation and the scope of delivery. Roofings are filtered by roof pitch and the indicative price is recalculated with every change.
Who this solution is for
The same configurator solves three different problems depending on who opens it.
Instead of an email enquiry
Log cabin manufacturers that want enquiries stating the roof, layout, use and scope of delivery instead of a general question about the price.
Options side by side
Dealers who compare a summer and a year-round cabin in 3D with the buyer during a meeting, indicative price included.
Settled before the survey
Builders who need the foundation, floor height, railing and scope of delivery settled before visiting the plot.
Frequently asked questions
What does a buyer set in the holiday cabin configurator?
The roof, the layout, year-round or summer use, the colours of the logs, trims, windows and roof, the roofing, the terrace with its railing, the foundation and the scope of delivery. The 8.4 × 5.1 m footprint with a 2.7 m terrace is fixed in the demo; in a deployment your own models replace it.
How is the cabin price produced in the demo?
The price is an indicative estimate from a demo price list based on public Finnish market prices, including Finnish VAT of 25.5%. It is neither a manufacturer’s price list nor an offer. It leaves out the foundation, fireplace and sauna stove, chimneys, water and sewage, electrics, interior finishing, design and the building permit.
Why can’t every roofing be chosen for the mono-pitch roof?
The mono-pitch roof has an 8° pitch, and at that pitch the minimum slopes of the roofings leave only a bitumen membrane or standing-seam metal. The 18° gable roof also allows tile-profile metal sheet and bitumen shingles. The configurator replaces an unsuitable roofing with a permitted one on its own.
How does a year-round cabin differ from a summer cabin?
The year-round cabin has 134 mm logs and triple glazing, the summer cabin 88 mm logs and double glazing, and the outer dimensions stay the same. A frost-free utility space under the floor can be added only to the year-round cabin; a summer cabin is drained for the winter.
Where does an enquiry sent from the cabin demo go?
The public cabin demo runs in demo mode, so the form sends and stores nothing and the buyer sees only the summary and the price. In your deployment we decide together whether the enquiry arrives by email or in a CRM, and the connection is set up individually.
Does the cabin configurator replace a building design?
The configurator is a sales visualisation, not a building design. A structural designer checks the loads, snow included, the foundation is designed for the plot and a cabin in Finland needs a building permit. Every summary carries these notes.
