Let the buyer choose the garage door before they pick up the phone

On a timber garage the door decides everything. The configurator therefore starts with the type — sectional, roller, side-hinged or a double barn door — moves to its width of 2.5 or 4.8 m, and only then to the wall and roof around it. The footprint comes from a garage grid of 6 × 3, 6 × 6 and 9 × 6 m, and a concrete slab is the base this type starts on.

Who this solution is for

The same configurator solves three different problems depending on who opens it.

  • A price during the call

A garage maker who recalculates the quote today once the buyer finally settles on a door.

  • Made-to-measure sizes

A seller who needs to know whether this is one bay or two before preparing an offer.

  • Settled before the survey

An installer who wants the concrete slab and the anchoring confirmed in the enquiry.

Frequently asked questions

Which doors can the buyer choose?

The demo carries four types — sectional, roller, side-hinged and a double barn door — and each is genuinely different in 3D rather than a recolour of the same panel. The width is 2.5 m for a single bay or 4.8 m for a double. On deployment we offer exactly the doors and widths you supply.

The configurator narrows the door so a bearing strip remains either side for the lintel to sit on, and writes the width it used into the summary. The buyer never receives a garage that could not be built. If they want a wider door, they have to choose a wider footprint first.

In Czechia a garage is expressly excluded from the 40 m² permit-free regime, so it goes to the building authority whatever its size. In Slovakia it is judged on area and height like other minor buildings. The configurator shows the note for the country chosen, as orientation rather than as the authority’s answer.

A garage starts on a concrete slab with anchors, because a car drives onto it and the building has to be held down against wind. A gravel bed is not offered as an equal option on this type. Whether you pour the slab or the buyer prepares it is set on deployment.

The public demo shows no figure, because doors are the item every maker buys from a different supplier at a different price. On deployment the doors, the footprints and the base are all wired to your list. The buyer then sees your amount and you see how it breaks down.

Companies who open this type usually look at these as well.
